(1) The shortest distance from the dorsal aspect of the deep plantar arch to the plantar aspect of the second, third, and fourth metatarsals in the axial plane. (2) The nearest distance from the distal epiphysis to the line passing the deep plantar arch that was perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the lesser metatarsal in the sagittal plane. (3) The shortest distance from the tarsometatarsal joint to the line passing the deep plantar arch that was perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the lesser metatarsal in the sagittal plane.
