The high-support shoes (ASICS Kayano-GS, a) featured a medial post, < 10° torsional stiffness, < 10° heel counter stiffness and < 45° midfoot longitudinal stability. In contrast, the low-supportive shoes (ASICS Zaraca 3, b) featured a uniform midsole density, 10–45 ° torsional stiffness, 10–45° heel counter stiffness and > 45° midfoot longitudinal stability
