  1. The four insole conditions are: 1. baseline; 2. pre-plug removal; 3. post-plug removal; and 4. post-plug removal plus arch support.
  2. Note: Due to the main purpose of our study is to test the effect of plugs removal (comparison between 2 vs. 3), arch addition (3 vs. 4), and the original insole itself (1 vs. 2), the results about condition 1 vs. 3, 1 vs. 4, and 2 vs. 4 are not shown in the TableĀ 3.
  3. # A decrease (āˆ’) in the % indicates that the latter insole condition recorded a lower value than the former and an increase (+) in the % indicates that the latter insole condition recorded a higher value than the former.
